The Scotsman Ice Code of Conduct defines the principles and standards that guide our daily business activities. Organizational Model 231
Scotsman Ice has adopted and constantly updated the Organizational Model pursuant to the Italian Legislative Decree 231/01 to prevent the administrative liability of companies in cases of crimes committed in the interest or for the benefit of the entity. The model aims to ensure that companies adopt organizational, management, and control measures suitable for preventing unlawful behavior.
The model includes:
Risk mapping
Identification of company areas most exposed to the risk of crimes.
Protocols and procedures
Definition of rules and processes to prevent unlawful conduct.
Supervisory Body (OdV)
An independent internal body responsible for monitoring the effectiveness and application of the model.
Training and communication
Raising awareness among employees and collaborators about ethical principles and behavioral standards.
Disciplinary system
Provision of sanctions for those who fail to comply with the model's rules.
The adoption of the 231 Model is not mandatory but allows companies to demonstrate that they have implemented adequate preventive measures, reducing the risk of penalties in case of crimes.
Whistleblowing
Scotsman Ice provides secure and confidential channels for reporting concerns related to misconduct, ethical violations, or regulatory breaches. Reports may be submitted anonymously where permitted by law.
